Mastering Multi-Cloud Strategies: Empowering Solutions For the Intelligence Community (IC)

For the last few years, the Intelligence Community (IC) had limited access to hyper scaling cloud computing solutions with predominantly only one solution available. This solution allowed the community to adopt industry best practices to increase flexibility and deliver mission goals faster and more efficiently.

Additional options for using multiple cloud solutions to help accelerate missions are now available. The change identified in the 2019 Cloud Computing Strategy documentation stated “The IC will use Government and multiple commercial cloud capabilities that are interoperable and support workflows within and across multiple security fabrics. To maximize rapid reuse of these capabilities, IC elements will emphasize security trust through shared knowledge and transparency of security assessments and authorizations.” As this change takes place it is imperative to identify how to take advantage of these valuable resources and move from a single cloud solution to the multi-cloud capabilities preferred by industry today.
