The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program began in 2011 to ensure the security of cloud services used by the U.S. government. FedRAMP is a government-wide program providing a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. FedRAMP uses NIST guidelines in its own framework to enable U.S. Government agencies to use cloud services securely and efficiently.
This informative virtual workshop will focus on the recent updates to the FedRAMP Program in 2024 (M-24-15), what is new for 2025, and will share new vendor certifications along with how agencies are modernizing, migrating and scaling cloud infrastructures to deliver citizen services that are reliable, secure, user-friendly, and compliant.
Learning Objectives include:
-
- Get updates on focus areas for new calendar year to include updates on the FedRAMP Program Authorization Act and role in the AI Executive Order
- Government Case Study of benefits of using solutions approved through the FedRAMP Program
